About Us

The purpose of EWU Archery is to provide the opportunity for students interested in archery to participate in practices and/or competitions. We welcome archers of all skill levels to join and be a part of our community.

FAQ

Where will we be shooting? The Jim Thorpe Fieldhouse.

Who can join? Any EWU student who is ready to have fun and be safe! No experience is needed; we will teach you everything you need to know.

Do I need my own gear?  You do not need your own equipment to join the club. We provide everything you will need to shoot. If you happen to own equipment already, bring it to practice and if it passes our coaches safety check you are good to use it.

When are practices? Practice time for Fall 2024 is Wednesdays 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Sundays 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Do I have to pay to join? Yes, club dues are $10 per quarter. There is also another annual fee of $20 to pay for your membership with USA Archery.

What should I wear to practice? Wear comfortable clothing that is close-fitted to the body to avoid interfering with the string during the shot. If you have long hair, you will need to tie it up before shooting. And generally, you want to avoid accessories.
