New students and their families are welcome to join us for our Family Reception! Staff and Orientation Leaders are looking forward to connecting with you over ice cream sundaes!

Are you ready to rush the famous Inferno? As a new student, you have the opportunity to carry on this epic tradition! Doors open at 3:00- make sure to grab your coveted Rush Roos Tshirt and be ready to run! The first 400 in the door get a free hot dog and drink coupon. Stay for the game vs. Western Illinois with kickoff at 4 PM. This event is for new students only!

Join us for Headphone Disco in the PUB NCR. Fuel up at the candy station, choose your own tunes, and dance the night away!

Biracial poet and event host, Courageous, collaborated with Knoxville artist, Lane Shuler, and crafted a show that blends poetry, comedy, hip-hop, and romance together into an energetic live show that is equal parts educational and entertaining.

Playfair is one of those "it's hard to explain unless you go" type of events. With lots of interactive games and ice breakers, many students walk away with new friends and connections! You don't want to miss out!

Come get excited to start the year! You'll be welcomed by EWU Cheer and Marching Band, hear from our University President, and learn the fight song! Stay afterword for your class photo on the Red Inferno.

The Majors Fair is all about exploring the academics EWU offers, while mingling with faculty and staff! Enjoy a free hot dog lunch while learning about majors and minors the University offers. The event is put on in partnership with the EWU Career Center.

Explore all that the PUB has to offer with this interactive and exciting event! Tons of giveaways and free food for all!

This event symbolizes the start to your EWU career! Walk through the historic pillars in front of Showalter Hall, while faculty and staff cheer you on. Stay for a campus BBQ afterword, catered by Long Horn BBQ. This is a celebration you do not want to miss!

Don't know where your classes are? EWU staff and faculty have you covered! Come to the Campus Mall between 7 AM - 3 PM and our volunteers will help you find your way. Plus, don't forget to use our 360 photo booth and grab some Eagle Punch! This year with a special guest appearance from Rizzy the Camel! Happy first day of class!

Are you a student who recently transferred into EWU? We would love to meet with you! Come join us for a brief reception where you can connect with other transfers and get some dessert! Located at the Rose Garden- outside of the President's House.
