About Us
The ECEG Garden Club exists as a wellness resource to cultivate interest in gardening, enrich student lives, transfer knowledge and skills to care for the Earth and each other, and ease the burden of food insecurity on campus. We meet in the EWU Community Garden, campus greenhouses, or other campus locations depending on meeting type and time of year! While we plant, maintain and harvest the garden, our clubs aims to do more than garden. We plan other events such as organic dye, food and beverage demonstrations, shares and swaps to teach other sustainable habits, and distribute garden produce to the Central Food Pantry or at tabling events. All are welcome to join and learn to care for the Earth and themselves.
