Conference Details:

• Tuesday, November 14, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Hargreaves 201 (Reading Room)
• Dinner and drinks included.
  • Seasoned chicken breast with penne pasta, sautéed vegetables in a light basil pesto cream sauce, an Italian tossed salad, and fresh breadsticks. 
    • If you have any dietary restrictions, please email sfl@ewu.edu at least seven days prior to the event.
• Attendees will earn a certificate of completion and custom backpack.
• Cost: Free

Empowered: Emerging Leaders Conference is designed for sorority and fraternity members in their first and second years, aimed at enhancing your leadership skills, connecting with fellow leaders, and boosting your confidence to lead effectively.

At the conference, you'll have the chance to learn from fraternity and sorority alumni and staff, including Tim Collins (EWU Athletic Director) and Colleen Vandenboom (EWU Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities). Together, we'll delve into engaging workshops on the following topics:

• Personality in Action: Leading and building teams with impact
• Navigating Differences: Effective conflict resolution and managing diverse perspectives
• Self-Care and Avoiding Burnout: Essential strategies to take care of yourself
