About Us

STEM Advice & Support├é┬¼├óÔé¼┬á(STEMAS) is a club designed for STEM majors and students whom are looking for a medium where they can interact with other STEM majors and students, post status's/memes, and get advice for classes especially as students apply for graduation, medical, nursing, and engineering schools. Student's will also be encouraged to seek out advice regarding post bacc programs, job shadowing, volunteer options, and questions regarding the standardized tests that are required in order for them to matriculate into their desired programs (MCAT, PCAT, NCLEX, GRE, DAT, etc.). STEMAS was founded on the premise that students need a way to quickly interact with each other as their academic journeys progress. STEMAS will continue to facilitate this and strive for a higher standard of student interaction, while focusing its efforts on the advancement of STEM-related coursework.STEMAS will post announcements/important dates on ewu.presence.io and will use discord.gg for discussion and advice. Discord is a website and app that allows a community of users to exist on a single page and post information/messages that all in the discord can see. If a user wants to get additional advice they also have the option to privately message a moderator (typically an officer) or anyone in the discord. The STEMAS discord is not a resource to report sexual misconduct.
