Details

As a young professional, it's important to recognize a safe work environment. This session will focus on helping you understand what workplace hazing can look like, how to recognize warning signs, and strategies for responding appropriately and safely. Our goal is to ensure that you are not only aware of potential issues they may encounter in future work environments but are also empowered to navigate them effectively and advocate for healthy, respectful workplaces.

Nicole DeKay is based out of Seattle and runs a organization called Humanalyst. It's a data analyst organization that works to gather data on workplace experiences.

Kim Kamel is a labor and employment attorney, based in Spokane. She provides day-to-day employment advice, drafts contracts, handbooks, responds to EEOC and HRC Charges and also litigates cases.
