Spring Awakening explores the beauty and peril of coming of age in a world shaped by silence. The production contains mature themes, including sexual awakening, sexual violence, suicide, abortion, physical punishment, and emotional abuse. These moments are handled with care and intention. We encourage audience members to attend with mindfulness and self-awareness.

Set in 1891, Germany, Grown-ups hold all the cards. Headstrong Melchior and naive Wendla stumble into each others' arms, while anxious Moritz struggles to live up to the stringent expectations of society. They travel the fraught and rocky path of adolescence, discovering their bodies, their minds, and themselves along the way. Spring Awakening fuses issues of morality, sexuality, and rock and roll into a story that packs a powerful emotional punch.
