Join GWSS and the EWU community at noon on February 19, 2026, immediately prior to the next scheduled BOT meeting, to support our ongoing work for social justice. At a time when marginalized communities are being silenced and erased, this event will highlight the origins of the EWU Women's and Gender Studies major and its importance in educating and transforming our world. Keynote speaker, the esteemed scholar Lisa Brown, Mayor of Spokane, will share applications of GWSS work in society; and illuminate her contributions to the creation of this major at EWU.
