The EWU Physics and Astronomy Club is a collection of students from all majors, who enjoy life's fundamental wonders.
Against all odds, EWU (still) has a Physics department, and the club takes everything we learn from our wonderful lecturers and professors, and brings it to life! Come have a talk with us about a topic like Quantum Mechanics or Electromagnetism, or perhaps have us explain a concept. You can also watch us build things; like a cloud chamber, which allows us to see with our naked eye atomic particles interacting!
The club has access to a large array of new (and old) telescopes. We take them out on star parties, and watch the cosmos! We also go deeper, with conversations about astrophysics, relativity, and even black holes! Feel free to come talk to us about it: we love having astronomical (or any other scientific) discussion!
